Awareness and understanding as it relates to nutrition are important in providing quality care. The MDS 3.0. 1.18.11 has expanded questions on race and ethnicity, providing an opportunity to discuss food choices. This session will discuss the changes to section K, person-centered care plans, coding tips, and the importance of section K in determining reimbursement and QRP measures.
